The salsa community lost someone great

RIP

My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Wow, unbelievable, I'm in shock. How
terribly sad, this is a great loss for the salsa
community and of course for his family and those
close to him. I'm so sad for Eli...

It has been an honour and privilege to have
studied with Yen & Eli at VIS 2010.
Personally getting to know them was a highlight of
the event. They are both such kind, talented,
generous and patient people. The time I spent
getting to know Yen, dancing with him, and
learning from him will be with me forever. I feel
extremely saddened by this loss to our dance
community and for Eli. You are in my prayers.
Yen Dorado, you will be missed. Peace, light &
love.

I had the privilege to take a private lesson with
Eli and Yen at the Vancouver Salsa Festival. Such
amazing people! Aside from their unique talents,
they both have such a great heart and they're
very humble. These traits set them apart from
others. There won't be another Yen Dorado,
that's for sure. RIP.

Every once in a while you have someone who raises
the bar and pushes/inspires everyone to become
better at what they do. Yen was one of these
people and world is better for knowing him. My
condolences Eli. RIP Yen Dorado.

something special and truly unique to the stage.
But the greatest quality I observed from him was
his humility. May he rest in peace.
